I know that many articles have been written about the issue of corruption in our country ..and this may be considered as just another attempt...but the reason for writing this is ...that I'm fishing for some answers...and my question is ....Why is it so difficult to remove corruption from our country????.....Many countries have suffered this peak of corruption in their systems like Hongkong,Indonesia but they did overcome this problem...and yes, it did take a lot of time, lot of agitation from people, a lot many system reforms ..but they all succeeded in the end...But why India has retained its standing among the most corrupt nations of the world since years....some will blame it on our large population ,some on our poor constitution, some on the poverty stricken majority.. but the fact we all escape is ...that Corruption is no more a Taboo in India ,it is part of our daily lives, its in the 'culture'...some 'thing' will immediately seek eradication if It's presence pinches us...but what if It's no more a 'sore'..and this is the case with corruption in our country....There's no more shying in taking and giving bribes .According to current statistics 59% of Indians think it is acceptable to take bribe (and thats a huge number!!).We all see it happening daily... nothing gets your passport ready ,as quickly as, Bribe. You want to travel comfortably ...either get your reservations months & months before or pay the ever-helpful T.T... So what's the easy way out ??? just board the train get a friend's berth and pay the T.T some amount which will be even lesser than the original ticket. Why would a common man refrain from something which is not burning a hole in his pocket, when he is already balancing his budget from over boarding prices........And therefore the entire nation is in clutches of corruption and we aren't even suffocating.People keep blaming the government, but what they really forget is .... Government only consists of Their representatives.. It is nothing but a reflection of the masses.Government is no doubt questionable ,but so are we.

Mr Gandhi was totally right when he warned Netaji Subhashchandra Bose.."what people are you trying to awaken??....INDIA IS A LAND OF DEAD SOULS" and it has remained so since times enumerable...It took us 200 years to realize that colonialism is wrong and we should stop being treated like second rate people in our own country and I think its gonna take another 200 years to realize that even corruption is a taboo.Even after 62 years of freedom ,we fail to realize that we are still living second rate lives in our country...our life is still cheap and bears no importance in eyes of politicians.Only the people worth living are the one's having power and money .Mind it even though tomorrow we become engineers and doctors ,contributing as a driving wheelof the nation..our country will still be in the hands of bunch of politicians and bureaucrates controlling our lives. Many Bhopal gas like tragedies will come and go ,with thousands of innocent lives becoming scapegoats and dying ,but the bureaucrats and politicians involved will remain Scot free. Its time we realize Corruption is not a solution, but a problem, a very sick problem...its like a termite which will eat away the very foundation of our nation. There is no escaping the ill effects of corruption.. it will come knocking your doors in the form of collapsing road bridges , food poisoning, murders, riots and many more , taking away the lives of our dear ones.

The only way out is stop accepting corruption as a solution, but come out on streets and fight for what is right,
what is lawfully yours ,develop pressure on government to change the system, reform its law ..as it's the only way which has proved successful in cases of fight against corruption in other countries.
